Pily Nieblas was born in Cuba. At the age of 4 she could read and write. Promptly, her family enrolled her in a local Arts Academy. There, she was taught Classical Music and Art History. Later on, she transferred to the prestigious National School of Arts of Havana.

By the age of 16, she started working professionally with traditional Cuban bands. She arranged and composed music for other young artists and for fashion events. Additionally, Pily also produced cartoon soundtracks for the National TV Channel (ICRT) in partnership with Robertina Morales.

Between late 2003 and early 2004 she won several awards in some of the most important Cuban contests for songwriters and performers, such as the Eddy Gaitan and the International Mariana de Gonitch for Singers, sponsored by the Russian Embassy in Cuba. Selected by Freddy For Music, Inc. to promote Cuban Traditional Music throughout many countries in the Middle East for a year contract, she left her native country.

In 2005, motivated by a promising work contract with Moon and Stars Studios, she moved to the United States. With Moon and Stars, Pily finished the production of the album "Si Yo Fuese Un Angel" in 2006, a mix of Caribbean sounds performed in both, English and Spanish languages.

Pily is also a writer, painter, muralist, and a designer. Her first poetry book, which also includes some of her art work, "Poems With An Accent," was published online at Blurb.com in 2008.
