Pily Nieblas was born in Cuba. At the early age of 4 years she could read and write. Promptly, her family enrolled her to study in an arts academy. There she was taught classical music. Later on, she transferred to the National Arts School of Havana.

By the age of 16 she started playing professionally in traditional Cuban bands. Additionally, she attended a dance academy and received singing lessons from the famous Cuban vocal coach Robertina Morales. She arranged and composed music for other young singers and for fashion events. Pily also produced soundtracks for the children's cartoons of the national TV channel in partnership with Robertina Morales.

Between December 2003 and January 2004 she won several awards in some of the most important Cuban contests for songwriters and performers, such as Eddy Gaitan and the International Mariana de Gonitch for Singers, sponsored by the Russian Embassy in Cuba. Then she was selected by Freddy For Music, Inc. to promote Cuban Traditional Music throughout the Middle East countries for about a year.

Motivated by a promising work contract with Moon and Stars Studios, she moved to the United States. With Moon and Stars, Pily finished the production of the album Si yo fuese un angel during the period of 2005-2006. Within the tracks of this album you may find some famous cover songs performed with a fresh Latin touch.

Pily continues creating, inspired by her Spanish Sephardic heritage from the Canary Islands. She is currently working on several projects related to music and fine arts. Pily is also a writer, painter, muralist and a designer. Her first poetry book -including some of her art work- Poems With An Accent was published online in 2008.
